Tis along time ago - in June of this year, when my old contract with the hated Nashua Mobile came to an end.
I was looking foward to being free of them and having my beloved SE W900i all to myself.
But alas - it seems that Nashua Mobile even controls fate and destiny and 2 weeks before my contract came to a close - my beloved SE W900i was taken from me. A petty thief or drug addict is the likely culprit.

So I went on a hiatus.
Mourned the loss of my phone and vowed not to return to the realm of the cellphone until another worthy successor to my W900i came along.

Options were the W910i or W960i, but there was a greater calling!
From on high, since February of this year - it's stories have been told!
Rumours spreading far and wide!
Confirmation and sneak previews came along all throughout and I waited with baited breath.
I've suffered immense withdrawal systems from the loss of the W900i - even think I started smoking more as my hands had nothing to do - so much time was spent playing games, taking photos, choosing songs...*sobs*

But that pain was endured and I made it through the loss.
For one handset and ONE HANDSET ALONE COULD RESTORE MY FAITH!
And that be, the Sony Ericsson Xperia 1!

Finally time has moved on and brought it within grasp!
They can take my women and children!
BUT THEY'LL NEVER TAKE MY X1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was out of the office yesterday. As usual, **** service from MTNSP as with all of them, it's taking long because it's a new phone and MTN don't have it on their system yet so they couldn't process my application :rolleyes:

They said it should be done today, I said if it's not they can stick their phone where the sun don't shine. :mad:

Will let you know as soon as I have it.

I really do hope they dont drop me on Monday. I'm not willing to wait.

Well I would, BUT I know I'll sit for months waiting after that to get one again because there will be no stock.

It just pisses me off that the phone is lying there waiting and they can't process a simple application. They say it's with MTN and they cant do anything about it, but they are supposed to be MTNSP. WTF!:confused:

I've phoned this morning (MTN Century City). Apparently there are 150+ lying in some storeroom or something.

Can you believe it, get it out already. I think I know why. It's because they said it will only be available in December.
 
Ok so i'm posting this from my x1. All I can say is wow!

Will play tonight and keep you guys updated.
