Pidgin and Mxit

Hey yall its been a long time

Got Pidgin the other day for mxit
Things is how do you set your mxit status in pidgin?

I can change the msn status but am currently unsure of how to change the mxit status, thanks in advance.

MXit libPurple Plugin v2.2.0
MXit Client Protocol v5.9.0

Found out how and fixed it.

If anyone else is wondering you can change it in the little status box at the bottom, thing is I have different statuses for different programs.

All you have to do is 'create a new status' and select 'use a different status for some accounts' button at the bottom, and off you go

Yes, they are local. I connect no problem when capped.

only started using pidgin this month, and am luckily not capped yet
hopefully they are local, but from what you say it doesnt sound like they are :<

Pidgin really is the best. You can even download an extension for Facebook chat- lol, it's more reliable than actual fb chat!

Link to extension please? Would that also fall under local - I doubt it, although Facebook photos are accessible locally.
