Does anyone have experience with one of those Generic Piko Smart HDMI tv adapters?

How do they compare to, say a roku?

I don't know Piko at all, but its price is more than a roku streaming stick, which is what I would choose over this.

Would this allow wireless streaming contents of PC screen to large screen TV across the room?

Need a dedicated, out the box solution not like the Chromecast where you (apparently) have to fiddle a lot to get that specific functionality working.

If streaming between pc and tv is my only requirement (i.e. don't care about all sorts of internet apps), is there anything cheaper that'll do the job?

I have just got one and works very well, I just can't seem to find the Netflix app.
Supersport app works extremely well

XBMC does not run on it at all. Tried all different ways. Not sure about streaming.

I wouldn't buy this player, it's outdated and overpriced. Still running 4.0.4? Wtf?
