Ping is high to bahrain

Probably some return path funkiness responsible for the extra 40ms. I've noticed some arb routing and peering issues on my Vuma CPT block and reached out to PBCool about it.

oooh what else you notice? My Apex experience has been pretty horrible recently

Ag it was just a bunch of local destinations with inflated latency, hairpinning, flaps between CPT and JHB, etc. Nothing network-breaking.. What prompted me to do a little testing was noticing that a few of my work VPNs latency was up from local ~1ms -> 20ms or 20ms -> 40ms. Have you ever tried to use community.spiceworks.com? Gotta refresh the page like 5 times until you get lucky and it loads :laugh: I wonder whats up with Apex? I've seen you mention Google network and peer routes are quite problematic? It's really difficult for us to diagnose these sorts of things without being able to see return paths eh..
