Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

Had a nice banting pizza from Andiccio24 for lunch

I have never tried 00 flour before. Sho - that is expensive. I suppose I can try it - considering we make it once a month or so.
R27 a kilo of Italian Granoro 0.0 at my local Spar.

Googled the Granoro website and apparently they have a specialized pizza version (better W rating) as well but unfortunately not stocked by my Spar.

I'll be interested to read some reviews and see how this stacks up against the Ooni. FWIW, the Koda 12" is available for ~R8k, so the Milex is not quite half the price.

There really is nothing special about the ooni. Burner control on the side makes more sense on this one too.
Yeah I've been waiting for a reasonably priced gas oven, the previous importers wanted R8000 which is pretty much Koda 12 money.

Agreed after seeing the Ooni's in person in a Yuppie Chef store they really aren't all that.

The only advantage would be a warranty and after sales support with Ooni. As with these rebranded ovens who knows how long Milex SA will help if you need spares like a stone or burner. That being said for half price now I am extremely tempted.

Just need one night of too many whiskies which turns it from wishlist to cart to checkout

I see at Hirsch's it is R8k you are quite right! Sorry I was referring to the Yuppiechef pricing.

I did find these reviews on Amazon UK which seems to be the same oven
Could be influencers though if it's all positive

I have taken the plunge and ordered one off Takealot, at R4499 I think not too bad. Will only be here next week. Excited to burn some pizzas
Nice one. Amateur tip: get a spare paddle for rotating and removing pizzas. Once the paddle gets hot the pizzas stick and you will want to punch a wall when you ruin one(or 4)

Thanks! I was thinking of cutting the peel that I got with the Weber pizza ring down into a turning peel
