Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

Narona (Gardens)

Reasonable prices, tastes fresh, as far as I can tell real cheese not fake cheese(yes it's a thing). Thin base was not soggy or dry.
8/10

Also tried Dominoes for the first time, the base was soooooo salty I was up most of the night drinking water :D

This is why I prefer thin base.

Amazing. I would rate them 9.5/10 for delivered pizza.

How good are their bases? You get that 'saltiness'? Mmm.

P.S. You can add an "l" (L) at the end of Imgur links to resize the pics.

E.g.:

Nvm, you were too quick. ;)

9.5/10 to me has to be mind blowing out of this world, 10/10 is considered unattainable, sorry I have high standards when it comes to pizza. Delivery was like R12.

Bases were nice yes, did not notice 'saltiness' but I would not like them salty anyway.

It's like a salty/smoky taste, definitely not the norm. Look out next time. ;)

Just the edges, like at the tip, that's expected when it's wood or gas fired ;)

We seldom burn the edges of our pizzas when my family uses our pizza oven. It's not something we particularly think about, but it could be the ingredients in the base (ours don't curl so much, although they're also pretty thin), the fact that we put toppings right to the edge and also the fact that we're turning the pizzas almost constantly. Each pizza is cooked in almost no time at all.

Will do ;)
I think it's because they use a wood fired pizza oven, makes all the difference.

Hehe... Definitely something different in the base. You may have also noticed that the base is almost firmer than usual. Chewier. I think it means more gluten.

Agreed. Doesn't bother me at all, happens always even at the best woodfired pizza places. One loses maybe 0.5 - 1% of crust removing the burnt bits, no biggie.

Now that takes talent and passion, sounds like you're making amazing pizzas. I miss making my own sometimes.

Guys, anybody got any recommendations regarding andicio 24?

Saw they woodfire their pizzas, also they seem a bit pricy? Anybody able to reccomend them?

Had some pizza perfect on Saturday. There is a new branch near Northcliff corner and I must say so far their pizzas have been really tasty. I'm gatvol of romans and there are no piza E vino restaurants close by so pizza perfect is a good compromise. This branch also prepares the pizza right in front of you. (The table is right next to the payment counter.)

All pizza perfect has that,
Next time you there, try their tikka chicken no pineapple, extra mushrooms and onions,

You'll enjoy it, that i can promise you......

The other two we frequented didn't make it in front of you but one of those closed down since. I like pineapple so might just keep it on :D
