Planned Gaming Rig, Whatcha Reckon???

Pricing on that board is great, who knows subways may even let me edumacate him on the joys of overclocking.

Any better ideas on a Chassis, im thinking the Corsair Carbide 500R > then the Antec 1100, but because of the way my office is laid out its going to have to go under the desk, with the windowed side against the side of the desk, so seems a waste to spend big mocha's on a case thats going to be hidden away.

Someone mentioned a nice chassis they requested a local store to bring in which they now do but I cannot remember the brand or store.

Edit: I think it was Fractal Design from Wootware, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You mean the Fractal R3 on Wootware's site? Not sure if it fits in with subways' use-case, though.

EDIT: That was weird, the text I quoted didn't have your edit in...

Nooo, that looks like a really kuk case inside. HDD cage for starters is just old school and wrong. You shouyld have easy access to things like that.

I have the Corsair 500R. It's really awesome and airflow inside is phenomenal. I do however agree with you, if you don't see the case it's sad. I myself have the sides "hidden" away.... but then again it doesn't really bother me. The chassis has a very high level of functionality which was more important.

Right, what im going to do is attach a bracket on the inside panel of my desk, to keep the chassis off the ground. Because of the my office layout, left side of the case will be against that panel. So this does away with the need of a side window, and, unfortunately, the air intake from that side.

Im looking for a case that has top and rear exhaust fans, and preferably dual 120mm front intakes to ensure decent circulation (i live on the S.Coast so moving air is important)

Looks wise im not fussed, but I prefer straight clean lines.

Im starting to feel the same way, it is an awesome chassis!!
