Planned Gaming Rig, Whatcha Reckon???

Just bought the NZXT Switch 810, made available today on Evetech's site. Out of your budget but if you want to do water cooling in the future its the best. I would recommend the Corsair 500R, did a lot of research on this case as it was my first choice but in the end not for my needs.

Manage intake, get positive air pressure and Dust filters....

Had one of these cases, the mesh is actually covering plastic.

Very good case for the money and WELL worth it IMO.
 
I have the 690 II Advanced and the amount of dust that collects inside is really minimal compared to the previous cheap case that I had which had no dust filters.
It could also be that my case is standing on a table that makes a big difference too, compared to one standing on the floor.

That makes a big difference. Unfortunately mine has to stand on the floor. At some point I wanna raise it 20cm to see if it helps a bit.

I have found only good reviews for the PSU so im happy with it, changed the mobo and case and the price on the Seagate 1TB is the best I can find so far. Hopefully by the time I buy this rig prices on drives will have come down a bit.

ok I was just wondering, cos my specs are equal and better and was thinking of selling my pc. I got mine for R30k, but obv gonna drop price if I sell. So was wondering what a machine like this would set a person back to get an idea of what to sell mine for.

I've heard/read there is BIG issues with the OCZ Vertex 2/3 SSD's..
do a search and see...

I've just ordered a 120GB Corsair Force GT over the OCZ as that was my other option.

Just a heads up, my 2c.

Vertex 2 is way different from the Vertex 3. The 2 is rather old now. The Vertex 3 is actually a serious competitor for the Force GT.
