The thing that I hate about Platinum cards is that it looks the same as silver. That sucks.

Thats something I like... I hate paying with a Platinum card... people look at you funny. And I always ask them to make it cheaper than pay with a Platinum card lol, you just see eyebrows twitching

Do you entertain clients a lot? ... if so, then you will surely know what I mean.

I rarely use my cc for private stuff ... cash is king .... looking for a discount - next time try paying someone cash (or EFT)

With my ABSA private account, I get a dedicated banker, broker, nice birthday email and even the occasional phone call...besides 2% below Prime.. R110k revolving loan its a waste..'cos I use internet banking and despise debt! Actualy Postbank is better rofl

You get that with FNB Platinum as well - I actually prefer my FNB Platinum account - but will close it shortly because of the screw around FNB Private Clients gave me - they could learn a few things from FNB Platinum (so can ABSA Private)

I went to the city center to get mine (long story), he handed it over and I was like WTF, this is the same one I have on me now, the Silver Cheque Card.

In Australia - you could design your own card - I guess there you could have one made with the words "Important" all over it, or "VIP"?
