Cape Town - Cape Town Mayor Dan Plato is at the centre of a political storm after his comments about people coming into the Western Cape and sponging off taxpayers. Plato was recorded making the comments on the sideline of a public meeting in Mitchells Plain.

On Tuesday, Plato was invited to a meeting with Westridge residents, hosted by Mayco Member for Area South, Eddie Andrews. In the 84-second long clip, Plato is seen chatting to a man while standing at a podium. Plato says: “If you must see how we must trim the budget. We pay, currently as we speak, 99 percent for those coming into the Western Cape. The two of us pay for them.

How is he in hot water over this ? What is next, Sharia fking police patrol units in Cape Town similar to those popping up over night in Brooklyn, NY ?

Fuk immigrants, we have enough of our own issues to sort out in SA. If immigrants want to come into SA they need to adapt to our culture(whatever it may be). I am done playing the host to freebee immigrants who expect to be treated better than South African citizens.

PC shitheads need to understand the basics of economics. If PersonA come in with nothing, no money or job prospects then PersonA would sponge of PersonB,C,D,etc. who contribute to the tax system where personA is now operating for free. I swear the whole fking world have gone back 500 years in logic and reason.

Enough with the PC horseshit.

Exactly. Apparently the Belgians were the most inhumane monsters of the 20th Century with regards to Africa.
But right after liberation, if you asked a Congolese if he wanted to go and live in the land of the monsters, he would immediately pack his bags and wait for the first flight to Belguim.....

Yes special, WC are the chief moaners in this regard, no one does it better than them and they won't let any opportunity to complain about people moving into the WC. You must just listen to the DA supporters on this forum complaining about people being bussed into the WC, pathetic.

Because ANC bussing people into the WC is wrong but DA bussing people into Gauteng is good apparently.
