Hi All;

Tried installing an app this morning on my S4 Mini, and I get the error "could not be downloaded due to an error. (500)".

Tried looking it up online, some state the Google servers are down. This cannot be it, as I just installed the same app on my N8000 tablet, without a hitch.

Second suggestion found online is to clear cache & data for Google Play Store & Download Manager and reboot. Did this too, no luck :(

Anybody have some advice?

Cheers :)

You try clearing play stores cache on the phone ?

Yep, no luck unfortunately...

Only other thing you can try is to download the latest Play Store from android police. I think the play store also have staged rollout. Otherwise factory reset.

Sheesh, I'll try downloading & re-installing Play Store, but reset :wtf: not going to happen soon lol...takes waaaaay too long to redo everything.

Thanks for the advice :)

Just a wild shot in the dark:

Back up the N8000 with keis then install the apk from the backup via airdroid?
