PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

Awesome game - had some lag issues over the weekend , Probl caused by seacoms down time.
 
Loving this game.. so intense.

Been playing on NA lately, servers are way better than EU... latency and all.

I play mainly Squad and Duo and have won about 6 games in duo and about 5 in Squad... seriously awesome fun and I find myself going back regularly for more.
 
How is the bugs? and stuff. I see a lot of people complaining on the reviews.

I might just get it but just want to make sure it will run okayish
 
I would actually ignore the reviews... I read them at first, had my reservations, then bought the game and thought all those who had negative reviews were full of **** with old crappy systems.

The latency is an issue, better on NA than EU for some reason. But its very playable, and very few actual 'bugs' that Ive picked up. Definitely needs polish, but so far Im close to 50 hours and still loving it!

The more I play it the more I love it. AS or NA is better at some times, but generally play on EU vs Russians mostly (with the odd Frenchman or German thrown in for some good banter at loading time).

Getting in and out of a vehicle becomes a pain sometimes when you get in an out immediately again if you spam F, but other than that it's a hoot.

Just a note if you are considering it, do not expect to get a chicken dinner in more than maybe 25% of your games - the way the game works is just way too random. Almost everything is down to pure luck. Whether you get any decent weapons or attachments or whether the circle bangs you up the naught from the time you land. The only thing in your control is your aim (obviously) and common sense about moving across open fields, etc.

Oh, and try to play squads more than Solo. Solo is just pure difficult as heck to try and get top 5. I have not managed a win in Solo as yet, but managed top 3 a handful of times with my best being 2nd twice.

I'm loving this game, play it daily (except for when I don't.)

I'll try the NA servers over the weekend - Had issues when I get shot in a building from a random room , No foot steps sounds or any indication that someone entered the house that I cleared. And the sound that Approaching cars make isn't realistic , been run over countless times without hearing noting.

I'm also lagging while in close combat , those blood splatters drop my fps like crazy.

Currently running a 6600k with 970GTX - getting around 90 fps after the online tweak guides.

I've managed to win 3 solo games and no one of my friends play PUG , so ill add you guys sometime for some due pawnage.

We have 2x chicken dinners under the belt. :)

Last night the lag was insane. I actually lost connection to overseas servers, haven't read anything about SEACOM being down again. Switched to CW account and had the same, but was only down for about 5mins.

:) Played a bit with Doom503 yesterday - had some good laughs. Hopefully if my connection is fixed today I can jam a couple tonight again.

Just be careful of Sharkbait - he is more interested in looting than covering his teamies. :D
 
I've been enjoying this game thoroughly. I do have an issue where I frequently will timeout while trying to connect to servers. I then load up the game again and try connect to a new game and boom I'm in. Apparently it is an issue some people experience.

It is frustrating but the actual game is awesome. My machine is low-end so it isn't exactly smooth for me but despite all the issues it is a very entertaining game.

Had a few chicken dinners and I can't think of a game that compares to that feeling.
 
Oki - tried a couple of NA servers last night, and I can confirm that little to no lag experienced.

Much better gaming experience than on the EU servers.

How is that even possible though? Off the top of my head... EU is around 190ms whereas NA is around 300ms+

Another patch this morning, but at least a small one. :)

Watched some videos last night on youtube and it seems the SKS and AKM are making comebacks. Will need to test...
 
Ya well, we got absolutely wrecked by a SKS last night, so can believe.
 
was about to buy the game then started reading the reviews some are pretty bad.

How bad are the following

- Hackers, I believe they can teleport all over the map and shoot through trees and rocks.
- Huge amounts of lag to the point where its unplayable.
- Turning down your graphics makes you able to see through all foliage. So you have to have the game looking ugly to play it right.
