PlayStation 3 will soon receive a 3D capability update

Just another reason why PS3 is better than Xbox... :P

Wow, there can't be a normal thread about a specific console without people like you coming and trolling another console. Pathetic. Keep your fanboy **** out of threads. Thanks.

Yeah baby, the PS3 is just so versatile. Can be reprogrammed to do/achieve just about anything. ....unlike .......

Agreed - and only 6 years after the Xbox 360 release!

It was ahead already when it was released. Compare what was added to the 360 VS the PS3.

As they say, once a biased skeptic, always a biased skeptic.

Um.

Not quite. They've needed to upgrade the hardware and firmware to make it do what it can do today (functionwise)

Yeah that the whole point. The cell firmware can be updated indefinitely to do anything, its got the power and technology, thats why the PS3 was ahead from the start. As for the hardware the changes was more to do with costs than anything else. The same as the "new" Xbox. The only trivial hardware update was the HDMI chip. :)

Now the PS3 finally starts pulling ahead of the Xbox in leaps and bounds.

IAP ... perhaps when it was released, it has the potential to - but wasn't leaps and bounds ahead. Marginally, at best.

He's saying now it is - especially with the 3D addition - and I'm agreeing. Not quite sure why that is so wrong to say?

Even then the few games and many functions was leaps and bound ahead of the competition, even at that time. The technological gap just grew from then on with every new firmware release.

BTW: What games are you playing on yours?
