Playstation Network hits 14million

14 million. Thats pretty impressive. Their numbers are slowly but surely climbing. They might jump even further now with the XBOX360 price increases

ha ha... have to add up two consoles numbers to even think of coming close the xbox...wonder what Nintendo's numbers would be if they added the wii and the ds?...

it's called PSN-PLAYSTATION network not PS3N,so they can include the psp aswell,it's not there fault ms is to dum to make a portable gaming device.

U have to admit its funny that xbox still owns their arse's with only 1 console

Obviously they would...the xbox has been out longer then the ps3 has...you cant really compare them...what is impressive is that the ps3 is catching up even though they had a late start...

how is a south african price increase going to affect the global psn and xbox live numbers significantly?

yeah, sure, catching up, which is why they won't release the ps3 figures on their own, or how many of those ps3 figures actually sign on after the account is created

you can actually see the figures here

yeah but that link is talking about ps3's sold and i was referring to the number of psn users on the ps3 :o

and according to the article
Sony declined to release figures describing how many of their 14million PlayStation Network users are logging on with the PS3 and how many are using the PSP.

heh. fanboys.
This reminds me, need to get my consoles online.

Dont get your console online yet Mouse, rather wait for internet price drop.

Im getting my ps3 next month - because my girlfriend is boring.

I stand to be corrected but the PSN doesn't offer as rich an experience as Xbox LIVE, namely there is no VoIP person to person and party chat facilities in the network and console itself, only in certain games.

I just want to play games online, I have facebook/skype/etc for all those social aspects :)
