Playstation Plus - WTF ??

I also question the timing. Why were they quite till 6 hours before the new prices kick in :wtf:
 
I use FNB and eBucks to get my PSN Vouchers and PS+ subscriptions at a discount.
Just bought a 365 Day subscription on Kalahari - worked out to about R280.
Assuming they don't increase it AGAIN within the next 12 months I'll pay R450 for the next subscription. But considering buying another now and stacking them
 
their mo3r. 50% increase. fsuck them. wont be renewing that then. less games and a huge increase. fsuck off Ster Kinekor.
 
I stacked another year and PSN+ runs now till 2016. Considering how the exchange rate is going, very soon a digital download will be 2k. BTW: I think the price increase also includes now compulsory VAT, but it still does not make up when compared to the US pricing.
 
What's to stop people from buying retail ps+ and keeping the codes on hand for future use??

Why are you blaming Ster Kinekor? They have no say in the pricing of Sony's online platform. If the physical vouchers were increased, then yes, f**k them. But it's not. Not yet at least.

Me too - it's so irritating having to swap discs (not to mention that when you have kids, no matter how careful they are, the discs frequently end up being damaged)

According to the email, you start paying the new price from your first Renewal date. Mine is May 2015

that's my reaction after I read that fekking email. 'you have until the 1st October you renew your subscription at the old price then we add 50%' fsuck ster kinekor for all PS related stuff.

Nope. At least not on the PS3. It was entirely optional which is one reason I got a PS3
 
I am going to move on to the US account and get vouchers off Amazon

Don't you use the upgrade vouchers anyway ? They are always cheaper and you can stack them.

Think I used my cc when there was a special somewhere last year. I will have to check for one since at that price I won't renew. Can't justify it since I'm not playing that much lately.
 
On an unrelated note, has anyone recently been able to purchase anything off the PSN store with a SBSA credit card? Both my master and visa fail and I have to result to evopoints for now.
