Nope. At least not on the PS3. It was entirely optional which is one reason I got a PS3

With Destiny on PS4 you can play solo without PSN+, but do to raids, strikes, public events, PVP etc you need PSN+. So you don't really get much gaming out in Destiny if you are not on PSN+ and I think Sony will push this onto other games as well.

On your totals sheet you have UK converted pricing twice, instead of US pricing.

Update: Scooby Doo's recently opened online shop is selling 1 year codes for R470, that's even less than the previous price.

At this price I'll sign on for another year.
