Hi Guys ,after reading the thread about wifi radiation,it got me a bit worried,as I leave my wifi on 24/7.

Is there anyway I can switch between wifi and wired quickly and easily. With that I mean there is no wireless signal transmitting while I am wired and only switching to wifi when needed. The router is a Billion 800 VGT and I am running windows 7 64bit on one laptop and 32bit on the other.

Thanks

No easy way, you will have to access the router and disable wireless access point ,most routers now days have a button for this i see in the manual this particular modem does not have that.

Sure
You have to log in to the router. internet explores or chrome etc. and input router address 10.0.0.2 is the telkom routers address
non telkom routers have different addresses EG. 196.x.x.2
user name and password for router ( some are default user name."admin" password ."admin" hopefully that has been changed .
then go to wireless and check WLAN disable and then save thats it.
Oh the netgear N300 has a wireless button and a few others
