Please help i3 1156 socket motherboard wanted

Hi guys
Is it true that the 1156 are discontinued? i cant find one anywhere on the net or at local store some guy told me from computer mania they dont make them anymore
a good second Hand mobo is fine. Thanks in advance

Yes, getting your hands on 1366 or 1156 boards new isn't gonna happen unless you are willing to find one in the States and import it. You can get them second hand, but remember that the 1156 boards are rarer and thus harder to get. Check www.carbonite.co.za for second hand parts.

Good luck finding one, will be very hard to find a second hand one, impossible to find a brand new one.

But I suppose they won't ever be able to get it in stock from their upstream supplier...

Its a real shame that the LGA 1156 socket was phased out so quickly!
