Performance wise haven't had any issues, our 4mb line usually gets max speeds when we need it to, so no issues for either of those. Latency wise there has been some minor issues with local gaming at times (not often though), but internationally it is top notch. Their support is helpful and I haven't had trouble at any time when I have needed assistance, and they were quick to resolve any issues. Overall I have had an excellent experience with them, so it is definitely so definitely worth its value (uncapped shaped 4mb).

One thing that would be cool is speedier connectivity for updates, as for some reason they don't get the best speeds (windows and steam) when I need them, but to get around this I run updates overnight so only a minor inconvenience.

for all my needs, browsing, news servers and a little online gaming on my PS3 I find the service excellent.

Mweb has performed well this year. I get consistent fast speeds. All I would say is the call centre could be more efficient and in time faster internet speeds would be welcome
If you are an MWEB ADSL subscriber, please rate them on performance (speed and latency), support, value for money and overall satisfaction

Please also tell us how MWEB can improve to make you a happier customer.

Hi have a 1M uncapped account and am generally happy, only some slow downs during certain times of the day. Also love the included WiFi at airports etc.

I always get fantastic speeds and excellent customer support, for what I think is a fair price in South Africa's current broadband market. I would like to one day see more faster speeds than my current 4mb that is priced better and is in comparision to the 1st world countries average speed. My cousin in Canada pays the equivalent of what I pay for a 20mb line. Which i guess is more the fault of the current infrastructure in this country rather than mweb itself.

Other than that, Keep up the good Work!!

M-web Uncapped 512k on my Telkom Wimax 512k line.

Speeds are constant, getting constant 60-70kb/s (considering it's 512k)

Latencies are very good for online gaming, no issues thus far.

Torrenting is decent with atleast 45-60kb/s constant.

Kudo's for m-web

We moved to Mweb this year, from Afrihost (both 1mb accounts) and I must say I have seen an incredible increase in both speed and latency, and much less disconnects (although that might be a problem with our landline)

Mweb really is the only ISP to go to! 5 stars all the way!:D

Home uncapped 4mb is good, I have been with them for over a year now. I can say that it is a very good product with good speeds. Have occasionally had lower than expected upload speeds but that could be due to SEACOM issues. Would recommend the product.

we have business (premier) 4meg line at work. In December arranged a router swop to have 3g back up, they messed up the installation causing email problems and downtime for almost a week (and loads of data charges). mweb promised a full report. 3 months later they dont admit fault and Junaid, the account manager no longer answers his phone or return calls. offcourse no credit of any sort was offered just a simple apology eventhou we lost thousands.

2011 we had a good year with mweb, untill december. 2012 has been good except for a few short downtimes this month when we had to reset the router.

forgot the mention that we previously had the same amoutn of problems, if not more with vodacom but their support was slightly better. currently looking at moving internet en phone lines to neotel.

Mweb is leading the pack when it comes to great affordable internet. Its a real value for money and there customer service is excellent aswell.
