Wish I had a "bloody powerful desktop computer". But my Dad's retired so...

Besides there's another thread where a kid claims to be a student and gets R25k pocket money a month (and yet is so stupid it's surprising he got admitted to any Institute of higher learning). There are people with too much money out there, big deal.
 
I'd say 9-10K also.

This is the common price difference between what the buyer thinks it is worth and what numbers people will offer (I bet you got stoked at a 14K offer).

Chances are though (if this is legitimate, you have a box and it should still possibly be under 1 month or so warranty) that somebody might buy it from you at 12K.

There must be a huge sock shortage in JHB since you smoked them all. It's got a mid-range graphics card that's 3 generations old. This wouldn't even have cost R15 grand NEW.

660 is 3 gens old? You the one who is smoking socks. The 600/700/800* series uses the Kepler architecture so there is hardly a difference among the mobile GPU's.

You're right, it's 4 generations actually, although the 960M didn't launch yet so I didn't count it. And yes there is a huge difference between each one. Do some Googling man.

But if this was a Macbook pro with the same specs as OP's PC, you would be shouting R20k.
