Since this is based on a statistical chance of being murdered I'm afraid you're looking at it from the wrong angle 4% doe not mean that you personally stand a 4% chance of being murdered if something happens to you, or as you stated previously a 22% chance if you are being robbed and cooperate, it doesn't mean that you need to be robbed 5 times before you stand a chance of being killed, that's not how statistics work.
statistics are just a way to put things to numbers, the reality is that every day that passed that you were not killed you had a 100% chance of not being killed, and the one day that you are killed you had a 100% chance of being killed, statistics only have meaning retrospectively and can not be used to determine the odds of things happening in the future.
To put it simply when you had a statistical history of scoring a goal in soccer 25% of the time it means that you scored 1 out of every 5 attempts, it does not however mean that you will score once during your next 5 attempts, you may score 5 times or none or you may score the first 25 times each time (100%) and the following 75 times score nothing (0%) but you will still end up with a statistical chance of 25%.
This means that every time someone is robbed they stand both a 100% chance of being killed and a 100% chance of not being killed regardless fo their actions. and this includes you.

I could give a damn about your earlier posts, what matters is the post you made there.
Your previous posts bare no merit on the claims you've made just now. I do not care if you made a official complaint about a specific percentage of a specific crime. The fact of the matter is that you do not consider the 4 % figure for murder as a very significant figure. Which shows your selfish attitude and lack of concern for your fellow people. As long as you yourself is not a victim that falls into the percentage you could care less about it.

If you roll some die (dice) 86400 (seconds in a day) times a day and only have 4% chance of getting say 6 or 8 sixes in a row I think you will eventually get it

Forget the 4%, You have a 22% chance of been a victim of robbery of which a very high % of the time you will be killed and a 100% chance that it will not sort under murder as it would be called a botched robbery

Where is this proof that murders are filed under botched robberies? Even if you kill somebody in an accident, its culpable homicide which is still a variant of murder.
Search the net, papers was full of it quiet a while ago! Also if you read the stats and compare that to other sources there is a huge discrepancy.

If you're referring to the Rattray murder. Yes, they called it a botched robbbery...in which someone was murdered. It doesn't exclude the fact there was a murder, a botched robbery refers to the circumstances of it.

Why bother questioning the validity of percentages when in real terms the high number of murders is unacceptable.
It is around 50 a day now if I heard correctly on Carte Blanche yesterday.
They were doing a piece about a country at war with itself.
It was interesting how they described the police being morphed into social workers with guns over the last decade or so, and as such the law and the lawmen are no longer respected.
Just look how long it took an army of cops to get Judge Motata out of his car and off to a blood test. In days gone by you were dragged out and thrown in the back of a van, ek ken van , no matter how much you protested.
It is understandable that the new government wanted to change the way the majority of te people viewed the police, given our past, but perhaps this has gone a bit far as the same people today are not happy with the level of policing we currently have.
The police don't command the respect they once did and that is part of the problem imho.

on thursday a family member was gunned down in their property, 1 shot to the head, 5 to the stomach
surely after 1 or 2 shots the person is no longer any threat to u commiting your crime.
