(mostly) Plattekloof, Cape Town
It really helps to quickly see patterns if I can tie your post to your location. The Vodacom network is very decentralised and when we get a number of posts on a specific problem it does not really help if we don't know where you are.

For example, we made some specific changes in the Western Cape last night. But I can't deduce if it had any impact and it gets quite tedious to ask the location for every post.

By updating the forum 'location' field with a city, province, it'll help greatly.

Much better...now I wish more people would do this.

And if you don't want to put your location in your profile settings....then when you complain or post a thread about a problem...please put your location.

Pretoria is a Big place. Where in Pretoria ?

Won't it possibly work to make a poll of all the locations in pretoria, for example, or something, then people can just indicate that way that they experience problems, it will be a lot faster to see a general count, although not perfectly accurate :)

No, unfortunately the forum s/w is no longer configured to allow more than 10 suburb or area names.

Heh, now you are that much closer to find out out where I live.... in the shadow of Eldoraigne-1/3G & HSDPA Enabled :D
