Plex Supersport Addon

Hey dude, sorry I'm a dumbass. I need the log file from your client machine too - this should be in: C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Plex\

OK cool. There were two log files; Plex Log and Plex Log Old - I have uploaded them to the same Google Drive Folder as the other two Log files I sent, let me know if you have any trouble accessing them.

Cool, will check now.

I can't find any record of the plugin being used in these two player logs. Plex only keeps two revisions of the log files and creates a new one every time you start Plex. What you need to do is make sure Plex is closed, then open it and run the plugin and play a few highlight streams then you can close Plex and upload that Plex.log file.

Ahhh OK. Yeah I was opening and closing Plex last night quite often to see if I could geet the problem worked out. When I return I will close Plex down completely then re-open it and play a few streams and then send you the new logs. Thanks again for the help.

OK, I started Plex and played a few streams. Have uploaded the log files to Google Drive. What was very weird was all the streams displayed the green screen again but could hear the commentary except for one stream, I could see the picture and hear the commentary - not sure how that happened???

Sorry to bother, but any chance you looked into this error? After removing the add-on and re-installing I still seem to get this problem?

Didn't see that last post, will check for you today. I want to fix some code to get it working in Plex\Web and the new Android client but I don't think will help with your issue at all. From the sounds of it it sounds like the stream is playing fine on your side - it's just not being displayed correctly once it gets there.

Okay, I don't see anything wrong in the logs. It has to be either a video card issue (driver) or a video codec issue. What graphics card are you using? If you have a GPU control panel maybe you could try tweaking some settings in there while playing the stream back.

I can also confirm that I have tested the plugin on a Windows machine and it works fine on my side.

Here is the stream info from your logs:

OK cool, I will look when I get home. I am currently using a GT210 graphics card and all is working fine with other files but will see what happens when I try tweak a few things. Thanks again for the help.

I am also using a GT210. Do you have hardware acceleration enabled in Plex? Should be under Preferences -> Videos -> Allow hardware acceleration (VDPAU) and (VAAPI). Tweak these settings and see if it makes any change.

Yeah I have Hardware Accelleration enabled. This is very weird, will try a few more things and see how it goes.

The only two options I have under Video Settings -> Player -> are:

Allow Hardware Acceleration (DXVA2) - THIS ONE IS ENABLED

Allow Hardware Acceleration (CrystalHD) - THIS ONE IS NOT ENABLED - Should this one also be enabled?

I have fixed a silly bug that was breaking the highlights. Live streams also seem to be working again from Supersports side.

I have updated the OP with updates and links to download.

My Plex won't stream anything even though the server and media center are synced. The channel has been added and appears, but no stream.

A little more info would help.

What Plex client are you using on which operating system?

Can you see the list of streams or not?

Do you get any error messages?

Also, what streams are you trying to play (live or highlights)?

Is the live stream still working? I just tried it now and got an error again. Do I need to somehow update the plugin or re-install it? Please could you let me know as this would be great to get working again.

Was looking for this thread, is this still working? Want to try it out so I can wean my father off DSTV :D

Just tried it now and still not working. Not sure why as I re-installed the Supersport add-on. not sure if it has anything to do with me accessing the Plex Media Server thru my Roku 3? What I am doing now is just opened the web browser on my smart tv and watching the cricket thru there for now until I can find a better solution.

Won't work on the Roku. Only works on desktop clients - Plex Media Center and Plex Home Theater.
