Pls help before I lose my eish!

Can't use wired xbox 360 from what I am aware...

In terms of batteries, I've changed to normal batts, a charger kit... none of it helps.
original Xbox controller?
stupid question, cant you get a fong kong one and see if it does the same?
we can then say its the controller for sure, messing everything up, or an actual driver issue on the PC,

and at the risk of being flamed to death here,
Keyboard and mouse instead of Xbox controller? or are you used to the thumb throttle too much by now?

Not sure how this applies to my situation? There is no Xbox 360 itself in my scenario, haha. Thanks tho :)

Nah it's an original controller. I have 3x originals and they all do this, so I suspect it's related to the receiver or driver. I keep running into this though so might just get a USB controller and use that...

As for keyboard... Bro... You try compete in a competitive racing sim on a keyboard and see how far you get  Defs a no go my buddy.

As far as I know the main reason this happens is because of power saving. Try what @Bobbin said.

From a Reddit thread:
Type 'Device Manager' into the windows search bar. When this is open, click on 'Universal Serial Bus controllers.' There should be one that has a tab called 'Power Management.' The one it was on with mine was USB Root Hub (USB 3.0). Un-check 'allow computer to turn off device to save power.'

Just do what it says regarding the controller and the receiver should reset too.
In that case, I tried that and got that combination of lights a few days ago but still no change. Even after that, I reinstalled all drivers and tried to re-link receiver to controller but the controller just spins...

You're a child and your comment was unnecessary so you and your apparent solution can phuck off dude. Take your patronizing attitude elsewhere
I'm older than you poofter. ANyways - Sorry, i can't help. Have a nice weekend without playing car games.

another stupid question from my side,
what happens if you try it on another PC? same deal?

and totally accept what your saying, I'm the complete opposite, cant get used to a controller no matter how much I try.
Keyboard and mouse for me, true blue PC gamer here.
although never tried a full size steering wheel, although might drive it like a forklift too much.

One would never have guessed judging by how you carry yourself... You're a sad, pathetic little inbred arsehle and it shows...

Just a thought ..... can't it be a usb problem ? I had usb's fcked out and had to load new drivers. Weird problem.

PS. D00s.
