Plugg Uncapped ADSL Feedback

They added different speeds. I was on 10 Mbps and downgraded to 8 Mbps as that is my sync speed, so I'm saving R300 odd a month.

Ahh, OK. Makes perfect sense.

The table has more entries than last time. Nothing new for us poor okes at the low end :(

Is that all they did?
I thought they were going to reduce the pricing like all the other service providers did, after Telkom reduced their prices. :(

They also added lite uncapped packages which are cheaper. Kinda like M-web added throttled packages to their existing products.
Also, 2x VSDL uncapped packages.

I just want to know when off peak is. It is mention in the first section of the post as 23:00 till 8:00 and then later down as 23:00 till 6:00.

I've corrected my previous post, thanks for pointing that out.

23:00 till 06:00

Urgh! Internet is sooooo slow! (Again)
I've contacted support and sent my traceroute. I've got Starcraft practice.. so I'm hoping it picks up speed soon.

Can't stream a 400 Kbps stream on a 8 Mbps account/line tonight.

Got 165 ms at hop #6: 168.209.246.3.

The last couple of days have been terribly slow, particularly my download speed on and off peak... is there an issue? No its not my line.

And as usual Plugg notifications tune "All Systems are functioning normally".

There are no issues that I am aware off.

How about a traceroute as a starting point to see where the problem might be, and of course send me pm with your plugg username to look at your account.

Has anyone else been experiencing slow international speeds? Apart from youtube, none of the regular streaming sites are working without having to buffer every 3 seconds (Sites like Dropbox, CNN, skynews, etc. Seems like most international videos are really struggling to play)

Is this related to the Seacom cable?

I have also noticed some issues this morning. But I haven't had time to investigate. I even had DNS resolving issues.
