Plugg Uncapped ADSL Feedback

That is one of the main reasons I decided to try Pugg. I'm now serving my calendar month's notice with on my Gold account, but using Plugg almost exclusively. Excellent product, excellent price.

And there's no calendar month notice BS with Plugg :)

Maybe look at installing the likes of PeerBlock.

The Abuse guys are merely doing their job regarding copyright infringement notices that they received from Paramount Pictures Corporation and so forth.

I wouldn't fret over it.

However if the complaint is about an open DNS resolver linked back to you, then I suggest you either shut it down or fix it so that it is not open to the world.

Anybody else got increased latency and reduced speeds? I'm hoping it wasn't just my first month of Plugg that was so awesome. Janitor?



This is on an account/line where I usually get 5Mbps, and 20ms ping....

Well - that was quick. For now the problem seems to be resolved. Touch wood.
 
Getting less than 1 Mbps on a 8 Mbps line/account to a local speedtest server. Usually much faster. Can't stream tonight.

Yet again your accounts department have buggered up. Last month they took payment late and there was no available funds at that time. I paid it via EFT and it came right. It still took them 2 weeks for them to confirm the payment even after I sent proof of payment.

Now today they have taken a double payment.
What is going on there?

Yet again your accounts department have buggered up.

I had a quick chat to accounts and while you have been double debited, all charges are valid. The initial invoice is for the subscription fee, the service was created on 31-05-2013 at 23:03 so it fell into the next billing cycle hence the invoice was not prorated.

Add the late debit order processing due to a fault in the batch as well as the lack of funds, the system made a mistake on your account.

Now today they have taken a double payment.
What is going on there?

A refund will be processed on Monday 8 July 2013.

I have also authorized one month free (August 2013) to compensate for the billing problems that you experienced. You will still receive an invoice for August but it will not be debited from your account.

I am truly amazed by the diference in customer service you guys have. Compared to other ISPs I have been with you admit to faults and even compensate when its not expected.

I am really happy with my service even with the few "hicups" I have had that really were not all your fault.

Seems I fixed it. The speed on my iPad in my bedroom via a wifi repeater was terrible lately even after resetting everything. Last night I fiddled with setting, changed antennas, reconnected cables etc and it came right. So as is usually the case it wasn't Plugg. :D
 
Hi Guys

Just played a LoL game and had huge latency. Not sure if the servers are having problems or if its plugg.
I also cant get onto the LoL forums.
Any other LoL players able to check their in-game latency?

It's 3 hours later tho, it did open, a bit sluggish the first time but does open no problem. Not a gamer so can't comment.
