Plugg Uncapped ADSL Feedback

If you are in the mood to help, could you perhaps shed some light on how IS Ignite (Incredible Connection) accounts star ratings work? Apparently, scheduling downloads for between 23:00 and 6:00 with them still counts against your star rating.

Sorry for momentarily derailing your thread. But this isn't entirely off-topic. :)

Incredible Connection is a reseller of IS and in total control of their own products.

See it as IS providing the pizza base with various topping as options. Each reseller takes the base and add the various toppings to create their own pizzas to sell.

Their star rating products will be different to Plugg's or any other reseller of IS.

Not quite the answer to your question; only Incredible can answer that.

I figured as much, but it was worth a try anyway. :p

Another month and the speeds are still f***ed - It is only the 3rd of the month (WTF) - time to find another ISP.

I've offered to help, but you merely ignored it and continue to complain, posting after posting.

Support is available via [email protected] or 08611 PLUGG (75844), also welcome to PM me; I am more than willing to look into your issue.

Until then, I have a broken boom to fix, causing a bit of a problem with people wanting leave the building.

Am I the only one experiencing sub 10KB speeds on a 4MB uncapped ADSL line at 14h15 on a Friday afternoon?

My Telkom 50GB uncapped service is flying as is my Afrihost capped account. DON'T tell me I have a problem - PLUGG has a problem!!!

Unfortunately, there is nothing that I can do for you since you are unwilling to provide any information/details even after numerous attempts from my side. If we do not have the opportunity to resolve it, the only option left to curb your frustration with the service, is to part ways.

If you PM me your username, I will send through an immediate cancellation on your behalf and have accounts refund you for the rest of this month.

dstv.com sits behind a firewall and afaik icmp would be filtered. this is not specific to any isp.

maybe you should stop being a dick and take them (plugg) up on their offer(s).

That ip is not pingable, most likely filtered by a firewall on the hosting side in order to protect their servers.

Look - An Internet Solutions employee...............

I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary tonight. My ping seems stable and getting full speed on downloads (4mb).

I upgraded my Plugg account to 4meg. But now the shaping is insane. With my old 2 meg acc I could download after 5pm, now with 4meg I just surf after 5pm (as long as I'm not on 1 star, then my internet is dead between 8am-5pm). I can now almost only download (nntp) from 11pm...

Was there a huge change in policy?

Why does weekends count against the star ratings so much?
