I've never seen this, we've picked up till and shelf issues and all they go and do is bring the price from the shelf to the till?? Never encountered it where they actually give it too you for free, pretty sure you guys are actually robbing them.

Scan right guarantee - At the time of purchase, if any item scans at a different price to that displayed on the shelf label and the bar-code corresponds, then that item is free. The balance of the purchase of the same product will be at a lower price.

Due to Pick n Pays policy of the price on the till vs the price on the shelf, I have scored 6 litres of milk for free, tomotoes, tins of food ...... (the list goes on) They are so weary of me now that they try check the prices before ringing them up. But I tend to bring the price tags to them if something is not scanned right.

It is amazing how many people do not check prices on shelves and what is being scanned at the till.

Woolworths also has the scan right guarantee, but their prices are normally correct
