I wasn't really a fan of POE - I found it too technical and complicated for what I wanted out of gaming (something relaxing and almost braindead :D )

But I watched one of the teasers for POE2 yesterday... Goodness me. This looks SO pretty... (but even more complicated?! :D )


Shades of Necro there - and, as Raxx said, bony belial?

It is free, but also not free.

If you played and bought stuff on 1 you get a free key for POE2 early access. (Check your mail)
Else you have to buy (early access) support pack.

If all that fails you will have to wait for proper release to get it for free.

Edit: My problem is that I bought a POE 1 Skin pack on PC back in the day, I can't transfer it to Xbox or PS5 so don't know if I will be able to play POE2 Early Access on the console or if I have to play it on PC. Will see how the new cross play/save will work when it comes out.

Ah thanks. I'll wait for the proper release.

Didn't enjoy POE 1 that much and didn't buy anything for it. 2 looks really good though.
 
Will Xbox/PS be getting EA as well? Coz mates say there's no mention of it yet and I don't really want to start alone on PC.

My problem is that I have EA on PC but no way to link my PC account to my Xbox account on POE 1
So dont know how that gonna work for POE2

My Gaming PC not gonna handle it (4th Gen i5 with Nvidia 1060)

Edit: dont see anything about it on PlayStation:

As we have also announced earlier, if you've purchased a top-tier supporter pack in the past or have spent $480 USD or more in lifetime purchases in Path of Exile on a single platform, you'll automatically have access to Path of Exile 2. In this case you'll receive an email (if we have one for you) and PM on the website that lets you know that your account has had access granted. We will begin inviting players in the next two weeks. Please note that the threshold is the same for all countries and does not take regional prices into account.

Saw that as well, pretty sure I'll qualify but no pop-up or email yet:

If I dont get anything I'll end up buying early access, besides Its only R543 on Steam and you get like 300 coins as well.

One thing I like about POE 2 is that my skins, pets and all will transfer to new game. Dont know how thats gonna apply with Steam based cosmetics as well.

Yeah I'm going to wait it out and see if they give me anything - I have no where near $480 worth of purchases from them and I've also never bought a supporter pack, just a few coins for extra stash space. Do those also trasfer over?

Yep extra tabs do transfer.

Again don't know how all that gonna work as I bought stuff on Xbox as well as on PC, they don't transfer across each other. I also started playing on PS5 this weekend showing some friends the ropes, so if they gonna merge the accounts, I'm gonna be the real test Seeing that POE2 gonna go Cross save/play and I have 3 active accounts linked :D
