Why would you buy anything before checking it out?Okay. After a few hours. And after spending 1k for the 600 point bundle and getting some stashes.
I can say, I enjoyed D4 more.
It looked okay. Then the new patch made it ****Why would you buy anything before checking it out?
I have only finished act 1, had to work this weekend so take my opinion with a grain of salt.It looked okay. Then the new patch made it ****
Playing minion build. And it just blows. Could not kill the end of act 1 boss with out some help. Went into act 2 and just stopped.I have only finished act 1, had to work this weekend so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Basically if you liked ranger or sorcerer you can't play them because they do not do damage anymore so you are forced into playing a new ascension or huntress.
In order to play these classes you have to use 4 skills and chain them to do damage and the pay off is not even amazing. With huntress you need to do spinny thing 3 times, then parry to activate ice proc then shoot tornados that are ice infused. To do 10-20% damage to the mob repeat that 5 times per pack. Like wtf
If I was doing that and wiping out 50% of a bosses health bar cool but with bosses I now need to do that on repeat for 5-10mins while dodging their attacks which makes getting off the entire combo impossible.
I don't think I have disliked a patch in any game as much as I have this one. Will wait for someone to find an OP build then follow a guide to try it out but don't think there is a point to continuing untill then.

All true, and all pretty easy to fix. They were trying to make it more difficult, because people said they didn't want an easy game. So they overcorrected, and have already starting pulling back some of the monster difficulty.Stop defending mediocrity. That is why we are here. When the majority of the player base says its bad. Its because its bad. It's not because the majority of the player base cant press 4 buttons. Its because its bad. What? Are you thinking you are the only one able to press 4 buttons.? Is there like a secret 4 button guild somewhere we all weren't invited to or what? Can you positive chaps teach the rest of us the way of the 4 buttons please? Because we too can press 4 buttons but don't have positive things to say. We are pressing 4 buttons but the game is still a slog. Is there something wrong with us? What's wrong with us? Are we pressing the wrong 4 buttons?
Sponsored streamers are calling this update bad buddy. Rax is calling it Dawn of the Yawn. Darth is just lolling at the memes. Lily said its the worst leveling experience she has had in any game ever. Empyrian said its miserable. He aint even playing it. Sponsored. Streamers. Some of these guys had lunch with GGG in the past. GGG paid for their plane tickets. Gave them game codes. Gave them free cosmetics. Even advertised their streams. They aint shilling.
Do yo not think that, just, maybe, perhaps, possibly, there is actually a problem when this is the worst seasonal launch in POE history with 63k players noping out 2 hours after logging in on launch day?

To be fair to D4 everyone I spoke to / interacted with enjoyed the D4 campaign at the very least. All true, and all pretty easy to fix. They were trying to make it more difficult, because people said they didn't want an easy game. So they overcorrected, and have already starting pulling back some of the monster difficulty.
Game's still in beta - this is all to be expected.
Has everyone forgotten how bad D4 was when it first launched?
Yup, there's a gap between the actual content released and the endgame, which is why you need to rerun acts 1-3I'm not playing hardcore since that's pointless on my connection.
The problem for me is that you're forced to play the stupid story over and over, and running those maps you spend more time between fights than actually being in combat due to the slower pace.
