POE2

Yep that was my thought process as well. Didn't want to spend but I will eventually use the points for some new special stash tab. I have enough tabs already (40 premium tabs) and every special tab that was released up to 2021. eg. I already used a few of the 300 points to buy the gem tab which stores 500 gems. Very useful.
Then you should check your account on the PoE website if they haven't just given you a EA key

Yeah I checked and did the calculation before I bought the key. I only spent $260 between 2013 and 2021. Need to have spent $480 to get a free key. I only used to buy tabs and only when on special.

Seems the crashes have been fixed.

Before the patch I used a shortcut with the command to force the game not to use CPU 0 and 1. After the patch, the game was actually stuttering now and again, however, reverting back back to affinity for CPU 0 and 1, all seems to be good.

Haven't had a crash in in a while.

I still had the crash with 0.1.1

Still having the crashes/freezes here my entire PC freezes and a hard reboot is the only way to get out of it I've tried the affinity stuff it doesn't work. i think it affects Ryzen CPU's more and people on 24H2 I think as well.

Its at the point now where I want to play the game but it keeps freezing/crashing so much that I don't feel like attempting it anymore till its all fully fixed.

If you've done affinity right your pc won't need a hard reboot.

Poeuncrasher is working well for me.

Very odd, after the patch my game has been running very stable, no crashes, using Ryzen and Win 11 had an update.

My poor i5 doesn't crash, but I'm lucky to get 16-24 fps in a big fight, even in an empty scene it only goes up to 42 or so :(

Running fine on a 5800x3d + 2080.
Even running the 2080 downclocked by 40% to have the system run cool and quiet. No crashes at all.

Got a bit bored now so I put all my gear for sale. Need new weapons and skills to play around with. Feels like the theorycrafting is too limited right now. I tried to make skills work using different approaches but skill gem level scaling is way better than any other method. So you can only really scale spells and unarmed attacks with skill levels. With attacks, Herald of Ice is just better than anything else you can do.

What fps are you getting?
I lock it at 60fps and getting that pretty much solid.

60 fps sounds like peasantry yes, but surprisingly feels very close to higher fps in PoE and has the bonus that my PC doesn't sound like a jet-engine, but runs chill for the long hours - especially when I'm in town going through inventory.

Getting older has me putting a higher premium on peace and quiet in the room (with speakers) than the extra bit of FPS.

Waiting for the new Gfx card lineups from AMD/Nvidia to come out so I can finally upgrade, as I made the call to skip the shoddy 40series.

The stupid game really needs some optimization, there's no reason on for example my side for it to be CPU bound.

My 3060 is barely doing anything...

I checked my performance today.
About 40-50fps, 3840x1440, all the quality maxed out. Gpu 96%, cpu around 30%.
Rtx4060 + ryzen 5 3600, 64gb ram

Yep, that's why I've downclocked my GPU for this one.

The 5800X3d carries it really well. It was a great purchase instead of upgrading the 2080 as a surprising amount of games benefits a lot from CPU, plus means not buying every 2 or 3 generations of GPU's while still having very decent FPS.

Only game that battles more than I like is Hellblade Senua 2, which is a cinematic feast.
