POE2

I saw in the campfire chat that the crash was a Nvidia driver and an update was coming or my be out already.

I hope so, had a few again.

Especially when you trade, loading to the other persons hideout, you cross fingers the game does not freeze up.

Hmm.

Will try that. But to me it feels like a network based hang. It does continue eventually.
So combination of frame rate cap (40), cpu affinity off the first two CPUs, and realtime priority, gave me a good 90 minutes of solid crash free goodness.

Sorry haven't read all the posts, but any idea when the full game is meant to launch? I have no interest in paying for early access to a beta of a F2P game...

I took a break but am back and making my way to end game with my monk, now in A3 Cruel. My stats feel like a mess, lots of gear requires either 100+ str or 100+ int, of which I have neither. Am I suppose to generally spec into lots of attribute points in the passive tree? Damage wise I'm fine, but I need some defences for sure.

Also played some warrior up to the end of Act2, but it feels pretty kuk compared to Monk, going to park it for now and try mercenary for some ranged goodness.

Thank god they finally made loot filters a thing for consoles, I know it's more helpful endgame but it certainly helps during the campaign as well.

This wouldn't even be a thing if they just adjusted the drop rate, so mobs don't always drop loads of trash. This was an issue with Diablo since forever, you'd think surely nobody would come along and make it worse...

With Natural pathing and choosing which attribute, helps a lot but yes, getting attributes on gear is necessary for certain builds.

This is a great implementation of addressing the issue, people can build filters and other people can subscribe to them. You can fine tune it as much as you like. Don't know if Diablo has anything similar - but altering loot rates is a double edged sword. Some people want trash as it's part of crafting etc.

I played my Ice Strike Monk to lvl94 and had my first death. Taking a bit of a break now since I'm busy for a few weeks.

CI with 22k evasion and 6k ES which goes to 12k when mapping. Gear was cheap, like about a divine worth but I bought most of it in mid December. Blows up the whole screen with Herald of Ice and Herald of Thunder that keep chaining off each other. Just had to make HOI do lightning damage to shock and HOT do ice damage to freeze/chill. Also using the Polcirkeln ring to guarantee the explosion chains.

Not sure how to share character builds like we can do with POE1.

Only thing I want is for Herald of Ice to also trigger from spells like in POE1. Making it only work for attacks is kind of limiting and I played POE1 all those year mostly for the satisfying explosions.

Odds are you'll end up buying stash anyway, so spend $30 on it now with free points for stash or playing free in 6months and buying $30 worth of points for stash

Yep that was my thought process as well. Didn't want to spend but I will eventually use the points for some new special stash tab. I have enough tabs already (40 premium tabs) and every special tab that was released up to 2021. eg. I already used a few of the 300 points to buy the gem tab which stores 500 gems. Very useful.

Ja there's no way to play the game without the extra stash space imo.
So no reason to not buy the early access.

I'm fast approaching 200 hours in the game already, along with 7 other friends who's clocked even more.
Many more hours will be enjoyed with new classes and content that's to come over the years.

I'm new to this and I thought stash tabs were just stash tabs.

When I saw you can get different types that do auto sorting of things like gems or currency... Mind blown. They are a must.

yep, and for the amount of content you get for 'free' (POE1 rather), it is worth paying for them.
