You can link them but have to mail [email protected] to transfer the cosmetics to the account you want to use as main. Sadly this excludes PlayStation. PS bought cosmetics can't share to other systems and vice versa. Sony do drop free ones as part of the PS+ Sub once in a while so I suspect thats the reason.

One is steam ( I bought EA) and the one was direct POE I think. I never spent money on the game so I certainly didn't expect the POE account to have access...

Automatic if you use the same account. Not all POE1 Skins are available in 2 yet. You will still see them in your cosmetic tab eg:

POE2 is cross-play as well but PlayStation/PC cosmetics don't transfer, and not planning to do so either.

Between accounts, you will have to email GGG to move them. Works Vice versa as well, the new POE2 skins also work in POE1.
 
The GGG devs have always been very very good with their Microtransactions and I would not have minded to pay for EA to have the privilege to see the game earlier and help test, If you really have an issue with them asking you to pay for EA and then STILL give you the in game currency you would have gotten, then maybe wait till its free if you don't want to support the devs

I wonder sometimes if people think free to play games are also free to develop and host, the devs just do it out of the goodness of their hearts

Don't make a free game if you can't afford it

Am I supposed to feel sorry for them?

I have no issue with paying for a game


The issue is pay to play now free later
Just make a pay to play game if money is an issue

Not sure why they touched you on your studio.
If you don't want to pay, don't pay. Wait 6 months to a year then play free.

Some of us are happy to pay for early access, that's our issue and choice surely? (And we're talking like a million simultaneous players atm)

Do what you want

Don't advertise something free on steam for months then ask for the monetary support first before you can try it
 
Ah I tried the two new classes.

The merc is pretty cool, you get some top down wasd action. I was having fun with it but then I tried the monk and holy crap, things are unbalanced. The monk kills things 5x faster than the merc and/or my crappy minion witch.
 
OP classes right now is Invoker and Stormweaver, and Infernalist to some extent rest needs to be tuned or fixed. The idea that leech is not working atm is a big ****up as most right click builds need the leech to survive or be able to use skills. Bloodmage is probably the worst class right now as your first ascendancy puts you on the back foot and then spell life steal which is suppose to counter it is not working as intended. GGG fix your game before worrying about nerfing some skills.

Monk & Storm Sorcerer best party combo right now.

Monk: Best in-game at single-target DPS
Sorcerer: Best in-game at multi-target DPS

From what I have seen Witch do come to the party at end-game with Hell hound

Raxx was playing some sort of ice / comet sorcerer yesterday and it looked pretty strong

You don't have to feel sorry for anyone, and no one will feel sorry for you that you somehow chose this hill to die on.

They said from very very early that the Beta will be free for people who supported the game and free to play later for everyone, but if you want access early there will be a price. As far as I know it was exactly the same for POE 1.

The game is FREE TO PLAY, not FREE, no one is going to pour years of their heart and soul into a project and then just let you play it and tell them how it is ****, they are of course going to want something back from it.

The GGG devs are very transparent and upfront with their payment model which people that actually care about the devs as well are very happy with.
 
I may try a ranger as my second character for shits and giggles. Dropped a damn nice quiver with damage and + to projectile skills along with a unique bow that only has one attribute: 212% effect of quiver
 
EA was free for people that spend $480 on POE1, and is technically free if you pay the $30 to get the EA key, as that $30 is converted to $30 worth of points to use in the microtransaction shop. If you want it completely free then wait until verstion 1.0 is realeased. the points you get is good to buy some tabs which is going to be needed if you plan to play the game long term.

We had a new member also joining us for this playtest, he bought the $30 early access and I agree, that is just enough to get some proper tabs to get you going in the game

This is the real kicker, for $30 you not only get the game but also MTX currency, I honestly don't understand how people can see it as scummy
