I don't know anymore.

I am basically level 30. I stopped using lucky egg when I evolve because my pokedex is complete.

But I have a friend who is level 31 without ever cheating.

Also if it was not for the move and the wedding I could have gotten to level 32 by now.

So I don't think 32 means cheating. Not now. A few months ago yes. But not now

I got to Level 29 playing at most a few hours every weekend. No cheating. I can easily see the dedicated guys hitting 30's now.

So no more driveby pokestops = end of myself and wife playing.

Sent to niantic, not holding my breath.

New "no driveby" rule makes it impossible for us to play.

Hi, My Wife and I have been playing Pokemon Go for quite some time now but the new rule that makes "driveby pokestops" impossible also makes it impossible for us to play.

When I drive she collects items, when she drives I collect items.

There are NO pokestops within walking or cycling distance from our Work or our home.

Work:
Latitude: -
Longitude:

Home:
Latitude: -
Longitude:

We drive out of our way twice daily during weekdays to collect items from pokestops.

We are in South Africa and the closest pokestops that we can use are in an area that is not safe to walk around in (With phone out 100% guarantee that we will be mugged within the first month).

Please assist or respond, we both really enjoy playing this game but between our schedule and our location it is impossible for us to continue playing if the rules are designed to make it impossible for rural dwellers working in industrial areas to play.

Our daily routine.
5:00am wake up, get ourselves and kids ready.
6:45am Take daughter to school, son to creche.

7:15am go out of our way to collect items at pokestops.

Work till 4:30/4:45pm
Get daughter from gran
5:00-5:15: go out of our way to collect items at pokestops:
5:10 to 5:25: fetch son from creche.

Go home, make supper, bath kids, do washing, laundry etcetcetc.
(No time to get mugged in a park next to a squatter camp).

Anyway, I doubt it but hope for some form of real person response to this message.

Have a good day

I was able to do drive by's on my way to work today. Was every hard though.

Just saw something on one of my groups - people are saying that Pokemon Go Plus is unaffected by speed which means Im just going to spend the money and get one. (Will waste ebucks)

Either they want to stop people from riding and playing or they want to push the Plus... Its probably safer that I get one anyway.

I've haven't checked the subreddit or anything in ages, am I right in saying Pokemon don't show up and you can't spin Pokestops when you are going above a certain speed now?

DITTO AND GENERATION 2 POKEMON HAVE NOW BEEN FOUND IN POKEMON GO APK

ditto-pokemon-go.jpg

Rumors about Generation 2 Pokemon and the elusive Ditto have circulated since the first week of Pokemon GO. But for the first time, we actually have new information on both!

v0.45.0 brought new code to the APK that revealed new features soon to come. The Silph Road has audited the APK to see what could be learned. After a preliminary look through the v0.45 APK's code, we can confirm the following:

1. ONE NEW MOVE HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE GAME: TRANSFORM

It is a quick move (as opposed to a charge/special move).
TRANSFORM now appears both in the GAME_MASTER file with its own animation sequence (as all moves have) and the APK code itself, as the only new move addition yet since the game launched.

2. 100 NEW POKEMON ARE NOW REFERENCED IN THE GAME'S CODE

Pokedex #152 (Chikorita) to #251 (Celebi)
Moveset data has not appeared for the 100 new species, and a client-side update (e.g. v0.45.1) will be required for them to begin appearing in-game

3. 52 NEW POKEMON FAMILIES NOW APPEAR

Again from Chikorita to Celebi
Includes Ho-Oh and Lugia, etc.

4. NEW SPONSOR: GLOBE NOW APPEARS

(This may have been added in v0.43.4, but either way was previously announced and discussed on the Road)

5. THE LOCKOUT SYSTEM

A bunch of new code for the anti-gym-sniping (lockout) system has appeared.
It appears to function just as described, with a new error message if you are locked out, an 'ending millisecond' timer for deploy lockouts, etc.

6. THE QUEST SYSTEM

Daily quest code, including daily bonuses and a weekly bonus according to a multiplier have now appeared

7. THE 'CONDOLENCE' RIBBON

(This also went live in the previous version, but we wanted to catalog it here for historical reasons.)
Used when Niantic placed a black condolence ribbon on Thai players at the passing of the King.

A WORD ON DITTO
While it may seem Ditto is now in the game, the GAME_MASTER file does not currently include the recently added move TRANSFORM in Ditto's movesets. Currently, the only move Ditto knows is: STRUGGLE. It is possible that TRANSFORM may never officially become a Ditto 'move' so to speak, but will instead simply be an 'occurrence' that happens every time Ditto enters combat. Notably, however, the TRANSFORM animation sequence was not only added as an animation sequence, but as a 'move' in the movelist in the APK code.

A WORD ON GEN 2
Presently, no moveset data has been assigned to the new species. Furthermore, the moves themselves haven't even appeared in the code yet. This means a server and client-side change will have to occur before Gen 2 is launched. So nothing to hold your breath for, travelers. It may yet be a few more weeks or months. But Niantic has certainly been picking up momentum. At this point, it's anyone's guess when these major additions might find their way into the Pokemon GO universe.

It may only take a server-side update, to update Ditto's moveset. It is our opinion that if the GAME_MASTER file is ever updated to give Ditto the new Transform move, we can almost guarantee that gelatinous beast will be findable in the game. We'll certainly be looking!

Hopefully these efforts to boil down the update are useful for helping you know what's happened, confirming that no new features were overlooked, and quelling or confirming rumors, travelers.

Niantic is hauling. We haven't seen re-balances and additions come back to back this quickly in the history of the game. Can't wait to see what their plans are on these new fronts! Something tells us big things are happening sooner than later...

Trainers,
We are excited to let you know that the new daily bonus feature is rolling out right now. The daily bonuses reward you with XP and Stardust for your first catch of the day, and XP and extra items for your first Photo Disc spin of the day at a PokéStop. You’ll get an even bigger bonus if you complete these actions seven days in a row!
To celebrate this feature, from November 7th to November 11th, you’ll find more Pokémon out in the world. Moreover, PokéStops will grant more items! Yes - this means more Great Balls, and for Trainers that are level 20 and above - more Ultra Balls!
Take advantage of it while you can and explore your neighborhoods with Pokémon GO!
