Pokemon Go!

so, to confirm , high IV pokemons ,with low CP are not worth evolving?

i am almost level 20. (19,5)

Like I said you can evolve it if you really want but don't do the rename trick yet, wait until you can get a ~700CP Eevee. Your CP144 Eevee, depending on what evolution you get will only be about CP300-400.

Can you post you Eevee's HP and stardust needed, because you said it's IV is between 13% and 97%, that's not exactly narrowing it down.

I regret doing the renaming trick at the lower levels. it only works once.

now I only get Jolteons. now I dont mind Joltion, but I would really like more water types. not beacuse vape was broken, but because up here its all fire and rock type.

not sure i understand why rename in 20's and not now?

Because the rename trick only works once, it might work again but it works 100% the first time and you really want a Vaporeon, your Eevee will give you a ~CP400 Vaporeon but a ~CP700 Eevee will give you a ~CP2000 Vaporeon.

The higher your level the higher the CP Pokemon you can catch in the wild.

can you only rename once or something?

HP:36
Stardust:600

according to a different site it is,97%

Oh noes! I didn't know it was single use only and used up Rainer (1700CP) and Pyro (1200CP)

did you guys see the Nova launcher theme built like a pokedex?

I want to play around with that a bit...

The trick only works once, so if you rename your Eevee to Rainer for the second time there's no guarantee that it will evolve to Vaporeon (Will be random).

You will have to power it up to find the actual IV, currently it has 18 possible IV combinations with the max being 97.8% and average being 30.4%

I did mine before we knew about IV's and people were saying it worked multiple time, the fact that I've had four Jolteon's named Rainer tells me that's not true.

Luckily on my 97.8% Eevee I did get Vaporeon.

That is quite lucky, it must be a beast in battles.

My Vaporeon is an 88.9% which is okay I guess. Flareon on the other hand...below 60%

It's only CP1204 but much higher CP Pokémon, especially CP2000 Arcanine can't take it.

ok now its 46% - 66%.

CP160
HP 38
ST:600
Where do you guys get the percentages from? Which site is the best? And why such a big range in this case - 46-66%? Does the range decrease the more you power up a pokemon or something?

To level that thing up is gonna cost you +-100000 stardust plus 100-150 eevee candy, or you can wait and catch a higher level one with some decent IV's and evolve that one and it will cost you nothing.

I use this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vtromeur.pokivcalculator&hl=en. The easiest way too check is to upgrade your pokemon from the lets say 2500 stardust level - stage one of the 3000 stardust level. Then you just set the app at the same level and check IVS.

The percentage will be exact.

Type advantage there. What's its special move?

That's why I wanted a Vaporeon because 100% of the Gyms I encounter has a fire type with 90% of them being Arcanine which is quick work with my two Vaporeons, both of them have Aqua Tail, I'm not lucky enough to get 97.8% IV and Hydro Pump.
