Pokemon Go!

If it's going to make a small difference I will not worry that much no.

Now not to make the same mistake again. I share my wife, do that the kids can get Internet access through my phone, but is that not exactly the same than accessing their account through my phone and being on the same wireless network?

you share your wife?

I think you were looking for a different thread, maybe something about a pic sent in the wrong whatsappgroup...

Tell us more :p

But to answer your question, no it isn't the same because you haven't logged into your kids google accounts to help them, merely giving them access to the internet

Het jy al gery Chris? :crylaugh:

Chris?? :D, lol don't get it probably inside joke on threadkiller?

Baxteen what is your view on my iv question?

its not a TK joke, its a Margaret van Wyk joke.

my view on IV is simple.

Transfer everything under 70% its my personal cut off. I then still look at the move set because I think that is just as important.

the chances of finding something above 90% in the wild is so small...

the pokemon I use to fight gyms I feel the move set is more important than the IV. but I try and only evolve pokemon with 70%+ IV,

I catch EVERYTHING I see anyway, so there is no real difference.

I have transfered a 88% IV arcanine that had bite and earthquake that was CP 1945. wrong move set means its useless, even if the IV is good.

A question on IV's and the appraisals.
If I catch a pokemon and it has a good IV, does that IV stay the same when I evolve?

yes it does stay the same.

but there is no point in having say a fully evolved, perfect IV arcanine that has the perfect move set, but has CP of say 800. (well not no point, but I am catching growlith with 900CP at the moment....)

so always consider 3 things.
when you are catching to evolve, if it has low CP transfer it, dont check the IV's because it might just make you sad when its perfect, but will cost you more candy and stardust to power up than an evolution will cost.
if your pokemon has decent CP, check its IV, if you are happy wiht that you can then evolve it.
if it does not have a good move set, sorry to hear dude, that pokemon will be weaker than a lover IV pokemon, with a good move set.

all of this has been covered by TrainerTips on youtube. guys seriously watch his videos, he is really good, and deserves teh youtube moneys you will let him earn by supporting him

agreed.

nothing worse then having a high CP good IV growlith that had say firefang and fireblast, then you evolve it and get bit and buldoze....

Thanks for the link to #margaretvanwyk lol, had a good laugh.

I am almost to the level where I was previous, I am just missing my good pokemons that I had, for instance my 92 iv, 1800cp Lapras :( I will probably never see one again and my 100 iv vapereon.

Yes.. Arguably the most valuable item to purchase in game is the egg incubators and now that IV self reporting is in, they will likely see increased sales of incubators (higher % chance of perfect IV). I suspect though with the IV change will came a future change to reduce the quality of pokemon hatched but we will see. Point is.. if they enabled sales, i'd buy 9 incubators and retain/restock to keep 8 working.

Where do I find this? Does it actually give the IV value of the pokemon ?
