Pokemon GO Login Issues Caused by Google

We’re coming up on the one-year anniversary of the release of Pokemon GO, and developer Niantic is hard at work on a large-scale event to mark the occasion. However, over the past few days a security issue has affected the game’s login system, preventing some players from accessing their account.

Fortunately, only certain devices are being affected by this problem, and they’re not the most common smartphones around. Some of the handsets that are being flagged are:

OnePlus One
OnePlus 2
Redmi Note 3
Redmi 4
LG G3
Alcatel One Touch
Various ZTE devices
It remains to be seen how long it will take for Niantic to address this issue. The company is typically pretty proactive when it comes to problems with the game, but since only a select few devices are being affected — and with the summer event looming — this glitch may persist for a little while.

A recent update to Google’s Safety Net protection system is causing certain devices to be mistakenly identified as being incompatible with Pokemon GO. The going theory is that Niantic is using Safety Net to determine whether a user’s device has been modified, but the system is throwing out false positives.

Google disabled entire account for no reason. Article coming soon which will make Google cringe.

Anyway.. my point is.. with most apps, they allow you to have standard login and associated one. Niantic only allows one and does not allow transfers.
 
I have never had any issues with my Google login.

But side note if anyone is hanging around the Hatfield area today I am doing laps of 5 pokestops. I am luring 4 of them while I do laps. Anyone looking to join in let me know.

For anyone wondering about battery life.
Last half hour, 4 lures, incense, lucky egg. Full brightness, Bluetooth headset running music.
I used 7%.

The LG g6 is a beast
 
Round 2 finished. 7%again.
Bluetooth headset died.
But I have gotten about 20hours of listening out of then since I got then with the phone on Saturday. Quite impressive.

Taking a small break now to rest my feet

Finally have a Snorlax!

The bastard spawned at my house over the weekend :D
 
Managed to catch Marill, Horsea, Wobbuffet and Starme in Cape Town. Also got a Skarmory from an egg. At the V&A Waterfront there are hundreds of Magikarps, managed to get a few but weren't there for too long unfortunately.

I have known him for a year. I would say he doesn't. But you never really know people. But I plan to go there and see for myself. Will let you know what I catch.
