Pokemon Go!

Yip.. it's like there is no event and spawns at my place are lower than normal
 
So according to the reddit thread, it is only grass biome's that saw the increase in spawn rates...which makes sense in the pogo philosophy...ie get out there and catch them. BUT for the peeps here that need to drive in excess of 50Km to be in another biome, it was and is the crappiest idea for a event ever. But my hatred for a grass event was already stated...ps grass spawn rates was not that amazing, bulbasaurs went up a bit to what chicorita's are currently in my evironment (ie almost everywhere) and heaven forbid but bellsprout and eggsecute spawn rates went through the roof. But if you live in a apparent grassy/watery biome like me....you probably did not even notice it...sigh
 
I could definitely experience the grass festival...lots of Oddish, Bellsprouts, Hoppips, Chikoritas, etc. in my area where I normally don't find them. Managed to evolve Bellsprout, Oddish and Hoppip, even caught Victreebel just sitting next to the road.

Was at the botanical gardens late yesterday afternoon...nothing special (for me, at least) there, except for the millions of quilfish yes, at least I did not have a quilfish before...stocked up nicely on balls etc with all those pokestops there!
 
Wonder when Niantic is going to bring out trading? Was in Europe for 2 weeks and only new Pokemon I got was Mr Mime.

If they had trading could trade 1 of them out.

-Limiting the number of gyms a single player can be in
-Buff Pokemon that need an evolve item. Nerf other Pokemon that can be easily Sniped.
-Trading (Items then Pokemon)
-PVP

ban any and all players who have ever faked their GPS location in any way shape or form. from spinning pokestops to capturing gyms. or catching pokemon.

perma ban acount deleted, pokemon and players removed from gyms.

nothing is more annoying than taking down a level 10 gym only for it to be taken back seconds later while you can see no one is around, and the gym is on top of a hill and you have 100% clear 360 degree view
 
Russian YouTuber Sentenced to 3.5 Years for Playing Pokemon GO in Church

A Russian blogger arrested for playing Pokemon GO in a church has now been sentenced to three and a half years in prison. He is just the latest person to find themselves in hot water because of the game, with another player having been arrested after visiting a police station PokeStop.

After blogger Ruslan Sovlovsky made a video of himself playing Pokemon GO in the Yekaterinburg Church of All Saints, he was accused of “inciting racial hatred” and was detained as he awaited trial. Two weeks ago, it was revealed that prosecutors were pushing for a sentence of three and a half years and now it seems that they have succeeded, with Sovlovsky being handed a 3.5 year suspended sentence.

Judge Yekaterina Shoponyak found Sovlovsky guilty of several charges. Shoponyak told Russian news agency TASS that these included “violating religious feelings,” as well as “inciting hatred” and the “illegal possession of special technical means – a pen with a video camera.” Though during the trial, the blogger argued that the pen featured a light not a video camera and also apologized to those he had offended by the video.

You can only claim for 10 gyms.. so maintaining more merely means that you don't get less than 10.

E.g. 3 months back on my original account..

Which sucked.. but that kinda made me only place 10-12 Pokémon so that I could maintain 10 and have a stable Pokecoin generation.
 
Previous pic was level 27.. google account disabled it was lvl 28 (they still charge me for drive.. ****ers) I know because.. 3 months later I am still owning the gym haha

Dunno if I will be lucky enough to again get 2x snorlax nor if I can get the balls to walk off a magicarp like I did then. I had 3 more amazing ones and enough to evolve another just before the water festival

Yah.. Google sucks.

I do not know how I feel about this wish list:

- This would damage the whole purpose of cooperative play, but yes it would be nice seeing less of the same people all the way from carnival city to fourways. But trainer tips spoke about something in the latest code which they will limit the type of pokemon in gyms soon, so this might deter people somewhat to claim too many gyms
-Why, no reason for them to be better, but blissey's cp calc must be changed to not see the overuse we are currently seeing. I mean chansey has basically the same stats, but as its cp is much lower, you almost never see it in a gym

sarcasm aside, at least for those of us who are in a rock biome, we get more buddy candy, and more items from pokestops.
 
No Lavitar for me, yet.

But I've caught Kabuto, Rhydon and Onix aplenty.
 
Managed to evolve Kabuto to Kabutops, and have enough Onix to evolve to Steelix, now I need a metalcoat!!

Hope there's an ice event soon!!

Also see Niantic is teasing a 'Legendary' summer for the Yanks...maybe legendaries are on the horizon.
