i see the pokemon go plus is on special at the apple store, any idea if you can get the same special in-store?

I would says this list below would be your best bet, else you need to bump into one of the players in the group which might be tricky as they normally (it would seem), meet up closer to the end of the raid ie when there is 30/40 min left on the clock

pta group is going crazy.
one person has found and caught a perfect IV zapdos already.
and it is his first raid back in SA after he has been off working abroad in the maldieves for 3 weeks (caught a corsola) lucky he did get one of each while there, but it took many attempts to get people there to raid.
 
4/4 on zap now. wife is 2/4 she was 7/9 on moltres, so this is justice.

lugia is the real problem though.

Lugia is a pain to catch.

I'm on 1/6 for him.

Caught my 2nd Zapdos this morning - so 2/2 - I'm chuffed with that.

4 people in the pta raids groups have caught a 1902 (100%IV) zapdos. 2 of them complete n00bs who were level 20 and level 21 respectively.
1 was mister worldwide, the guy who just got back to SA.
and the other was a good friend, who posted the raid to the group, organised the time, did all the leg work to get the group split for max ball bonus for as many as possible.
his zapdos ran, and onhis GF's phone the perfect IV one was caught first ball.

Neither of the ones that I've caught have particularly good IVs - but I'm sure that will change with other raids.
 
We live in an area with little to no players, we cant coordinate the raids and are lucky if we score a Muk in a raid, Lv30 myself with my wife on Lv27. We are in the Johannesburg area and would love to coordinate a raid day in one of the local zoos.
