Yip, going to wait for actual footage and reviews before deciding, the Pokemon Go catch mechanic with no battling is a major departure and I don't know how it will affect things.

Oh who am I kidding of course I'm going to by the thing, and the pokeball controller too!

People are losing their tits about the ability to transfer pokemon from Go! to the switch but if you actually watch the trailer it seems they are just added to "Go Park" where you can wander around with them and not use them in actual gameplay. Being able to use pokemon caught in Go in the actual game would break it completely IMO.

I think everyone needs to just relax a bit, this is a let's go title and as such is a offshoot title. Main series title is coming in 2019

Probably very true this statement, but take mystery dungeon, some people loved it, some people hated it. Either way, the sales were great.

But quick question, or more like poll, anyone on the forum that does not own a switch or possible bought a switch for one game alone. Would you spend 5k on a swtich for one game ie pokemon...whatever it is

Its been a very good weekend for me, finally got my Mew! and got a good iv shiny Larvitar that i evolved.
also managed to get my 3rd Articuno (all through field research no raids).

edit: i'm also intrigued about lets go pikachu and lets go eevee - had a look at some of the game play and looks good to me.

I see in-game friends and the capability to trade is coming in the next week or so.

Very exciting, but too late for me, think I'm over the hype and not sure whether this would get me playing again.

i did find a good group of guys in the Gateway / Umhlanga area - all ground players.

i shall be in jhb for the next community day - are there any safe family friendly gatherings / groups we could join ?
 
Am I the only one who can't log in? After the update yesterday I logged in with no trouble and played a little. Then at some point I got kicked out and have gotten the 'Failed to log in' error ever since, no matter what I do.

Edit: OK, it worked after changing my password and using the 'Login as a different user' option

I found one on community day,gathered all the candies in all the land and evolved it... aaaaaand I missed the 2nd evolution within the community day time frame by mere seconds... Seconds, I tell you, now I have a Squirtle squad Blastoise with ice beam instead of hydro cannon. FML :(
