Police station attack

LOL. So received a warning for expressing my opinion. In so many other threads people have agreed the cops (or at least most of them) are corrupt, and useless etc. Yet here it is blasphemy. just LOL.

In a thread where they were killed while seemingly doing their jobs, that's just bad form.

Yeah, almost like they deserved it. :erm:

That's like walking up to a farmers next of kin after his murder saying they are all racist, so he deserved it, and the being surprised if he gets bitch slapped into the after life.

Some things are "kommin", you just don't do it.

Ambrose looks like he has some deep rooted issues with cops and he is clearly not managing whatever hatred he harbours for them very well.

How many policeman were working on that particular shift? 7 killed. Wasn't that the entire shift? Clearly, someone wanted to teach the Station a lesson. Imagine how **** scared are the remaining 3 shifts.

Nobody takes the police seriously.

The criminals just joined the party.

This country is slowly becoming like brazil. Criminals get more rights than law abiding citizens

That's because there are seldom any real consequences to crime.
There have been stats published regarding crimes committed, arrests, trials and convictions and the final figure is minuscule with sentences often being shockingly lenient.

Since 1994, crimninals have become increasingly contemptuous of the police and an event like this was inevitable. Police appointed post 1994 have minimal qualifications or ability and the Party considers that their first priority is loyalty to the Party.

I heard on the news last night they are detaining 4 suspects for questioning. More arrests to follow.

I have a feeling that these aren't the people we are looking for, I somehow don't imagine these brazen criminals surrendering meekly to the police to be arrested, I forsee them engaging in a huge gunfight with the police until the end.

tbh, when i read this, i thought this is a hit on a dirty cop(s)(or whoever runs the station) with collateral damage. to me its a gang related message to dirty cops that don't tow the line. unless some other info has came out that i dont know of yet..

thinking that you are above the police, stemming from paying them off etc, makes a criminal brazen enough to walk into a place like that and do this, imo.

I think they hit the police station so that they can bomb the ATM across the road without being hindered. Stealing the guns was just a bonus.

could be youre right, they would have to bring a bomb so it seems more likely, unless they found one at the police station. or, lol, they were apprehended atm bombers and this was there escape...

Your post was an eye oppener. Well, for me at least.
South Africa should employ armed, private security, to safeguard the station. The policeman should serve the public and not be bogged down at the station with guard duties.

So you're saying that it makes sense to outsource a core competency?
