Sore loser, BUT surely a real democracy makes every voter's vote count and therefore popular vote most accurately reflects the voice of the people. I'm sure they have a good reason for this electoral college thingy but it seems like an awkward system to me.
Its to stop the big states from bullying the little states.

Happily, common sense has prevailed, and a definitely more globally orientated President has been elected. The Republicans are just a bit too conservative and inward looking for my liking.
Yup, pit there is not more common sense, but we have to take the small victories.

Essentially. One can only hope Obama stays more in line with the 2008 candidate for the coming 4 years.
Totally a victory if you know whats happening in American politics. The only fail here is that the GOP kept the house which means they can filibuster Obama again.
