Pollsmoor prison Facebook page causes issues

Prisoners at a Cape Town institution appear to have broken rules by actively posting content to social networks.

Trying to understand this ......... inmates may not have cell phones, but can have PCs, laptops, tablets or netbooks to post to FB, the odd skype call, a few e-mails ...?

I know few guys I grew up with who are in prison, they have cellphones and they post pictures drinking inside prison.

Really now... Why cant they jam the signals as they did in parliament....
Warders etc can use walkie-talkies and landlines...

Who is paying for their Internet Access? Because I certainly hope it is not me, the taxpayer!

 ......... ^^
I also know a couple, most of them are dead now though.

One guy gave me his son's number earlier this year (we used to be friends) and told me his son told him to ask him to call. When I called the vark said he was in Pollsmoor and I was like :wtf:

He even had the audacity to ask me for some airtime.

After watching The Following, I don't believe in internet access for prisoners. This can only go one way... Dead, dead, dead.

Well I just want to know who their ISP is. Because they manage to do more on the internet than I can sometimes?

They always ask for airtime, so they can call, be on Facebook and chat on Whatsapp.
