That didn't work out too well. Rain stopped play. I went home. Watching on TV. Highlight was seeing Smith get out.

Attendance was great tonight. Lol my box was on TV thanks to a well placed six that landed on our roof!

Ha ha. Yeah that must be it. There are slats like that above my box.
It's the only ball I remember being hit on the roof of the (newly renamed) Graeme Pollock Pavilion.

Interesting question from a mate of mine, an ex-provincial player...

Slightly edited:

Your thoughts?

In SA most matches are covered by television, so much easier to veg out at home ,rather than struggle through traffic and finding parking, with dubious looking "CarGuards" extorting cash to park on the roadside. Bull ring has to be one of the worst for breaking into cars. To me still nothing better than live sport, so you really live the game! if the venues cannot emake it really attractive to go there , we will sit with empty stadiums.

Centurion attendance has been a joke. ****ing grass banks and they're empty.

So now we can cancel the "poor opposition" excuse...

Indeed, the Aussies are destroying the Proteas. Maybe we can create a new one "Nobody wants to watch because the home side isn't performing".

Hardly been the expectation. No the reason is, that the majority of the people who go to live matches don't like tests.
