Popular browsers to force hyperlink auditing on users

Why I do copy link to the clipboard and examine it when pasting to the address field? :)
It is an old way to examine a real address, but anyway, uBlock Origin will is blocking hyperlink audits by default.

However it looks like an organised action. Why they suddenly decided to do that now?
