I'm quite a big Portal fan and I just finished the single player  (Best 9 hours of my life)
Now i'm really keen to check out the multiplayer :D

I played with a friend last night and loved it ! Who else is playing? I haven't had any luck playing with randoms

If you are on PSN... my heart goes out to you. :p

Played the co op last week with a mate and its hella fun, making the odd "mistake" and killing him was the funnest part... and valve said their first dlc, which includes single player and co op levels, will be free.

Also finished the single player over the April break. Keen to checkout the co-op. What was you gripe with random players?

I got it on Xbox, sorry.

From what I hear that is not an issue.

I can't ever find people, the one time I did there was lots of flashing and funny noises.

I tried with one of my friends and it worked great.

Look me up if you need someone to play with :)
Same user name on steam.

Also played with a mate of mine, but we never finished and I am unsure of how the "resuming" would work... Anyone know?

Please please please can we organise it one evening???? PLEASE FFS PLEASE

Oh my gosh a friend and I finished the co-op on one sitting, playing from like 5 the afternoon until 1 in the morning. Was a lot of fun and there were a couple of moment after finishing a map where we'd go how the hell did we do that? It didn't feel nearly as long as the single player campaign though... But this dlc coming our way might just change that. I loved the comments that GlaDOS made, and found out that these comments aren't really random. Which means it'll be different with every playthrough.
Go watch some youtube videos, some people did some whack things on portal 2, such as throwing a box and it lands on the switch... never really using portals at all! Damn hacks!

Now that's a challenge for co-op, don't use portals :P Impossible you say?

I realised that with the advanced maps on Portal 1.
Also when I redid some of the normal maps trying to use the least amount of portals. If you really try you can do some of them with like 1 (2) portals

Finished it twice now in co-op... the only thing now is trying to complete each map as fast as possible. Because after finishing it once it becomes a bit boring. Waiting for some mods or that mystical DLC that's apparently on it's way.

Finished it the other night with a friend over LAN (Cracked Co-Op client).

Different rooms, so tonnes of fun with those gestures (And I swear he dropped me into the spikes once in awhile ;p)

It's pretty awesome how GlaDOS pits the players against each other at times (Player 1 dies, GlaDOS tells both players that like 'Yes player 2 - Your plan to kill Player 1 worked perfectly!')

Lol'd quite a bit at the ending credits with the randomised job titles (Disinterested Robot Psychologist, Aging Space Miner, etc)

Short co-op, but fun nonetheless! :D

Last stage was really easy :p
