Porting challenge

I'm switching from CellC to Capitec Connect (CellC MVNO but still need to port, it seems).

Yesterday I went through the RICA process at the bank, and I received a port request notification via sms with an OTP to confirm. I replied to the sms and heard nothing further (apparently there should be some kind of confirmation message that follows). About 5 hours later I received another sms to say I hadn't responded to the first sms and the port request is cancelled.

I went back to the bank this morning and the port request was reinitiated, and I confirmed with the OTP again. But still no confirmation that the port is proceeding, an hour later. I have a feeling this isn't working again.

Has anyone similar expereince with this "port away" process?

Can the CellC rep possibly look into this or comment?

Yes, same here I am moving away from cell c as thay are useless. I submitted the request at 12:00 its 15:30 now and still no sms, phoned then twice and still nothing.

Few years ago I move my fibre line, 2 weeks no new SP could connect me, I eventually went to the network provider and they assigned me a new B number as cell c did not release my line.
