Porting to Telkom

How long should it take to port? I visited a Telkom branch on Tuesday and requested the port. Old simcard is still working

Did you reply to the SMS they sent? Took me a day

I only got a port-in validation pin that I read to the sales assistant. Never got another sms.

It would depends on how long it takes the service provider u porting from to release the number. Some service providers don't like releasing numbers from their network and will delay for as long as possible.

From CellC to Telkom, one SIM two days, the other the morning of the next day. Only counting business days as they don't work Sat/Sun.

Today is the 4th business day already.
Unable to reach them on their support channels.
