Sounds like I may have just been one of the lucky one's - haven't had too many hassles with the network when I've been using it. I got my first 3G card (Option) in Jan 2005 and had very few hassles with it. Then swopped out to the Nozomi HSPDA card this year when the offer for a free swop out was made. Again, I have been very satisfied with it.
Granted, there have been quite a number of problems which at times have been extremely frustrating, but then one just needs to remember that any new system is going to have it's teething problems - and 3G/HSPDA is relatively new technology wherever you go in the world. My guess is that Voda got caught with their pants down and did not expect such an enormous uptake, and have been struggling to build the network fast enough to satisfy the demand. At least they are doing something else we'd all still be stuck with Telkom

.
I say thanks to V3g and ALL the guys (and gals) at Voda for making my life so much easier. My job sees me travelling throughout the country (especially KZN) and my time is now so much more productive with not having to wait till I get back to the office to do everything.
Keep up the good work VodaCom and please try and iron out the hassles soon and give your clients a stable mobile data network to be proud of.
