Possibly random, but regular connection drops

ok when i use my phone not even the little g comes up i cant get on can any of u guys
 
I can't get anything now - get a connection and then get a timeout on a couple of local and international sites...

Any feedback 3g ?
 
I also couldn't connect about an hour ago... now at work (CBD) using reliable connectivity.

When I last connected, DNS resolution was inoperative.

Let me know when there's an improvement and I'll test from work.

Ok, they must have done something. I can connect now. Let's hope it holds.
EDIT: Connected for 20 mins. I disconnected manually myself, rather use my work's connection.

Same problem, this time in the CBD. Connected quickly, but dropped after 3 minutes.

v3g, what's the status regarding resolution of this? I'm also interested in the cause.

Hmmm.... after reconnecting, so far (15 min) the link has been stable. Will check again later this eve.

my gprs has been down since last nite,i stay in durban,on my 6610i it says temp network problem,on my v360 it just doesnt load.just to let u knw there is problems in durban
 
Still getting 3G connection dropping in Durban area...

GPRS stays connected a little while longer if you are lucky.
 
I am not sure where to post this but my boyfriends friend is on voadacom pay as u go and has has major problems with his GPRS. Cant even receive mms. He has not been able to connect to mxit at all for a week now. What is going on? It is rediculous

Today has not been a good one - unless i am sending a request for data - the connections been dropping. This morning was a shocker - this afternoon has been a bit better

What is going on with Vodacom? I am so glad thT I am no longer with them. I have a oppay as you go contract with MTN and am so much happier. I get a much better customers service with them too
